Whole Wheat Pancake Mix

Recipe Instructions:
1 one-pint wide-mouth jar
1 and 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup cornmeal
6 Tablespoons powdered buttermilk
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoons salt

In a small bowl, combine all of the dry white ingredients. Pour into the jar.

Add the corn meal to the jar and pack it down. Then add the wheat flour and pack it down.
Seal the jar.

Attach to Jar:

Whole Wheat Pancakes

1 jar whole wheat pancake mix
2 large eggs - lightly beaten
1 and 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well combined. Let the batter set for a few minutes.

Dollop about a 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto a skillet that has been lightly sprayed with cooking spray. The heat should be set at medium-high. Cook both sides until golden brown.
