Fruit and Oat Squares

1 jar Fruit and Oat
Squares Mix
2/3 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 cups apricot, cherry or other fruit preserves
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray lightly 13x9 baking
pan.
2. Dump jar into large mixing bowl. Mix well. Add
butter; stir with fork until mixture is crumbly.
3. Reserve 1 cup crumb mixture for topping. Press
remaining crumb mix onto bottom of pan. Bake 7-8 minutes
or until lightly brown.
4. Spread preserves over crust; sprinkle with reserved
mixture. Bake 23-25 minutes or until topping is golden
brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Makes 2 dozen bars. |
