Designer Duds Don’t Pay

Why dress your baby in designer labels? Although designer duds and expensive brands will attract attention, a baby has no real use for them. A realistic mom is a happy mom, especially when it comes to clothes and laundry.

Baby clothing should be easy to wash and easy for your little one to wear, all the while achieving great fashion and style. But knowing where to turn to achieve these desired needs in baby clothing is difficult at times. As a parent, you want your children’s clothes to be durable, fashionable, and reasonably priced. And you shouldn’t have to sacrifice one for the other. But more importantly, every good parent knows the outfit decisions ultimately lie with your little one. Your baby essentially cares about one thing when it comes to their wardrobe: comfort. It doesn’t matter how cute (or expensive) the outfit is, if it isn’t comfortable –it must be taken off However for our female toddlers…they’re easy to please with things they love like dresses and any type of accessories. Frilly dresses, hats, gloves, anything extra is always fun the girl toddlers!

Boys are always tricky because usually it does not matter to these little guys if their clothing matches, its durability, or its appeal (or lack of). The simpler their outfit –the better.

When you’re purchasing baby clothing, two of the most important things to look for are 1) durable clothing, functional clothing, and 2) fashionable and reasonably priced baby clothing. Oftentimes, more expensive clothes can be more durable, allowing reuse in the future. Baby clothing from places like thrift stores are unreliable. For example, thrift stores provide clothing that is handed down too many times, it wears, making it nonfunctional and uncomfortable. So it’s important to remember what’s important and what to never skimp on when buying baby clothing.
